Your Privacy on KaGolf
Here is the short version of what KaGolf knows about your age, what other golfers can see, and how to stay safer.
We do not ask for your birthday
KaGolf stores only whether your account is in the 13–17 or 18+ range. We do not need your exact age or birthday. Your age range is private and is not shown on your profile, in member lists, or in suggested users.
Your account has extra protections
- Your profile must remain private while your account is in the 13–17 range.
- New followers need your approval before they can see follower-only information and posts.
- Public cannot be your default post audience.
- Looking to Play is locked because it is designed to arrange in-person golf meetups.
Your name and profile photo may still appear in club member lists, search, and suggested users. Think carefully about what you put in your name, photo, bio, posts, and messages.
You are in control
You can decline follow and message requests, turn off message requests, block another user, and report a profile, post, comment, or message. Blocking is private: the other person is not told that you blocked them.
Never share your password, home address, school, live location, or other private information. If someone asks for sexual content, pressures you to move to another app, threatens you, or asks to meet secretly, stop replying, block them, and report it to KaGolf. Tell a trusted adult if you feel unsafe. For immediate danger in the Philippines, contact local emergency services.
Updating your age range
KaGolf cannot know when you turn 18 because it does not collect your birthday. You can check your private range in Settings. On supported devices, you may choose to ask Apple to share an updated age range. If that is unavailable, contact Support. Changing to 18+ does not automatically make your profile public.
